UK Boundary Data

KML files provided by Open Boundaries include some polygons too large for Google Maps and Google Earth. Here we provide smaller versions of the administrative boundaries of Scotland and Great Britain that can be displayed using Google's tools: This data is derived from larger UKBORDERS datasets provided by OpenBoundaries, an EDINA, University of Edinburgh Service. Tools

The reduced datasets were produced using dp.xsl, a naïve implementation of the Ramer–Douglas–Peucker algorithm in XSLT. Please link back to this page if you use or modify it.
